Summer Days....

I was in a photo taking mood the other day so I went over to Downtown Fairfield (it's a super cute part of Fairfield) and took bunches of photos :) Just wanted to share a few!

When I arrived home Diesel was wanting to play outside so I decided to snag a few adorable shots of him :)

He found the BIGGEST stick that he could and wouldn't let go of it if it depended on his life ;)

He's too stinkin' adorable!

Only problem was that he is ALSO adorable when he plays in the water but with finding the stick the same size as him he left me in the pool all by my lonesome :( BOO!

Hey! So it has been SO long since I last posted and I apologize for that as life has gotten hectic lately.....it has been absolutely wonderful though!

Let's see, some of the things that have happened since my last posts! We have hired a new worship pastor for our church. His name is Elijah and he is wonderful! There are so many things that he is implementing and I am VERY excited to see what God has in store for this season of New Life. We just had our first BBQ/Meeting (or gathering, meeting sounds too formal) where we discussed the vision of the team in the coming year! SO excited...I was asked to be part of the Lead Team which is a team put together that is like a board of directors except an active board if that makes any sense ;) I, as well as being on the lead team, have signed up to be part of the Nu Look Team which is the team that does the stage designs as well as the Lobby designs in the church!

ALSO, my adorable new niece Scarlett Alexandra Ann Harriot was born this last month! She is 3 1/2 weeks old now and as cute as can be! I was able to go visit Portland right after she was born to help Velvet out after her C-section and of course snuggle the irresistibly cute little baby :)

Seriously!!! Who can resist this adorable little face :)

I just hope she likes me as much as Addie does ;) that may be hard to surpass though!

It has been WONDERFULLY sunny here and I am absolutely loving it! I got a little sunburnt today but only on my right shoulder which is a little odd if you ask me....been going on LOTS of walks with Brandon and our puppy dog. Unfortunately, the last week or so Brandon's allergies have been really acting up and so that has put a damper on being outside with him :( The allergies here are apparently really bad compared to other places so probably not the best place to be if you have allergies, e.g. Brandon sneezing like crazy as I write this!

One more thing, I GET A NEW PHONE TOMORROW!!!! YAY! Gonna go with the HTC Droid Incredible 2 and I can't wait :D

♥♥♥Treasures...

Just wanted to share a few details that I have scattered throughout my house :) I love them all and want to spread the love!!! :)

I am a bad bad blogger.....

SO sorry everyone!! It has been too long since I last posted. Life has been going fantastic lately!! We had a few friends over for dinner a couple weekends ago and it was SO much fun. Having dinner with them brought up lots of conversation about our friends back in Portland and how we used to get together weekly for Soup Group and they both thought it was a FANTASTIC idea and just what we needed here. SO, that being said we will be holding out FIRST soup group in California this evening! I am so so so very excited. We will being having Zuppa Toscana and are expecting about 11 people to be coming! It is going to be held at our house for the first one and unfortunately I am going to miss next weeks but I am okay with it because I will be in PORTLAND!!!

That's right, I leave here in 3 days to come see all my friends back in Oregon! I am SO excited and if you want to spend some time with me PLEASE let me know cause my days are already filling up with people calling dibs on certain days ;) LOL! I will be there March 16th through March 25th. Text/call/facebook/email me, etc. if you would like to call dibs on a day ;) lol! I can't wait to see everyone!

On another note, our new church has hired a full time worship pastor that is fantastic!!! His name is Elijah and I am SO excited to being learning from him and partnering in worship!

Brandon has been busy with work! He is finally on a crew and has been working 4 days on 2 days off so his schedule is constantly rotating! Not only that but his schedule is as follows: 2 day shifts, 2 swing shifts, 2 days off. It's rather confusing and we get our days mixed up often but hopefully it will start feeling more normal here soon!

Well that being said, I can't wait to see everyone later in the week! Love you all!!!

Sunny Days

Brandon and I took a walk today! It was SO nice that we both decided that we needed to get out of the house and enjoy some fresh air so we got Diesel all excited, got his harness on, put on some walkin' shoes and headed out the door! Hope you enjoy the lovely scenery and the beautiful weather we are having here :)
