Life in Cali....

Sorry it's been so long since I have posted anything! It has been crazy for us since Brandon started work this week. Everything is going well here in Cali, I am on the road to becoming part of the worship team at New Life Church here in Fairfield! Check out their website so you can see where we will be going :) (http://www.newlifechurch.com/) YAY!! Benny (the worship leader) said that he would like me to sing next weekend for the first time :) I am extremely excited as it has been almost a month since singing on any worship team and I can't wait to get back to what God is calling me to! As most of you probably already know my mom is coming to visit this weekend! She fly's into Oakland at 9:30 this evening and I am gonna go get her from the airport! We have many plans like going to the Jelly Belly Factory, San Francisco, Half Moon Bay, and exploring the area around here :) I am SO unbelievably excited to see her!!! I have been applying for jobs here and there but no bites yet, please keep praying that something turns up that I absolutely love because I am gonna go crazy not doing anything ;) Love you all and will put up BUNCHES of pictures after this weekend! XOXO

Our Mini Vacation......

Hello All!!

I don't know if I have mentioned it yet but Brandon and I have found a church! It's called New Life Church, they are only about 5 minutes from our house! We have decided to attend their 11:30am Sunday service and we love it so far! I have already approached the Worship Leader for the church and he is very excited to have me join the team! I went to their rehearsal this evening to see how their practices are run, sing a little, and just have a good time! He says that starting February I will be worked into the schedule on a regular basis. Hopefully, I can start leading again as that is what I feel I am called to do! On another note! Yesterday, Brandon and I had the pleasure of taking a trip to San Francisco. The weather was FANTASTIC so we made a day of it and took the drive (Only about an hour) to the beach! I absolutely LOVE being this close to the beach and of all beaches to be this close to San Francisco is fantastic! This was my 2nd time going there but Brandon 1st. He loved it and we had an amazing time. Here are some pictures from yesterday for you all to enjoy!

An 8 photo Panorama of San Francisco Bay

A picture that Brandon took of the Golden Gate Bridge! :)

I took this one while driving to the other side.

Lombard St. in San Francisco, this is the windiest street in the world. We OF COURSE had to drive down it ;)

A picture from at the top of Lombard Street. Getting up there was probably the scariest thing ever since the roads are basically vertical! UGH

The Trolley at Pier 39!

Brandon and I both decided that the Sea Lion reminded us of Diesel (our dog) slightly awkward scratching ;) YEP

And THIS sea lion did not want the other on HIS landing! He was not feeling like sharing today, the poor sea lion :(

A Pretty awesome looking Submarine that I want to go on when my mom comes to visit for a tour :)

Alcatraz, ALSO a tour that my family and I are gonna do when they come to see us in May/June :) YAY!!

The city was WAY bigger than I remembered, WOW!

I believe this is the Bay Bridge, also a VERY large bridge you have to go over to get to San Francisco!

Don't know why but I thought this was a cool wall and thought I would share it :)

Goodnight all! Sleep tight :)

Mmmm....deliciousness!!!

It is a beautiful day in Sunny California and what better way to start the day with my hubby and doggy on a 3 mile walk down the walking trail by my house? Along the way we saw a few ducks, a BUNCH of Orange and Lemon tree's (which I REALLY REALLY REALLY want, who doesn't need a orange and lemon tree in their backyard?) saw quite a few other people with their puppy dogs and got to enjoy the sunshine as well! It was a spectacular morning that turned into a spectacular afternoon....I know......I am going to make you ALL very jealous but Brandon and I took an adventure today to the Jelly Belly Factory!

It was so so so much fun. Needless to say I am a BIG lover of Jelly Beans so this place was like heaven for me :) We got to see the entire process of how they made these delicious little beans. Not only do they make jelly beans but they also make another one of my favorite candies Sunkist Fruit Gems.....Oh man, those things are fantastic! We couldn't take any pictures because silly me forgot my camera at home BUT when my mom comes and visits next week I will surely have some pictures to show you all! We are home now though, just ate leftover Potato Soup from last night, Brandon and I are gonna curl up on the couch and watch some t.v. while the puppy dog sleeps on the ground from his busy day ;) Love you all and goodnight!

Hello Friends! I have decided to start a blog since moving to another state. I wanted some way for you all to keep up on what is going on in our life even though we may live 600 miles away! So far everything has been going well, just finished getting the house all set up! There are still MANY things to do to the house before I am completely happy with it but I am VERY happy to have a house that is my own again. Brandon is on TDY right now (don't ask what it stands for because I have no clue) until Friday when he will have to start his classes. TDY is where he gets 8 days off to go "house hunting" (even though we already have a house) so it has been really nice to have him home to help with getting the house situated. Diesel, our puppy dog, is LOVING having a big yard to run around in and I am really looking forward to the summertime when we can get all sorts of furniture to go out on our big deck and have all sorts of shindig's with the friends that we are bound to make here soon!

I miss everyone and can't wait for you all to come see me and Brandon in our new house and new city! Love you all!
