♥♥♥♥♥...

It's OFFICIAL!!! Brandon and I are coming back to visit next month.....my dad's birthday is in March and he has requested from my mother that his gift be ME :) SO my wonderful mother is flying us back for his birthday. I am going to be on the worship team that weekend and get to sing with my dad again (I miss that BUNCHES) and I get the extra bonus of seeing everyone that I miss so much! I will be there for about a week and a half, March 17th-25th, and Brandon will be there for only 3 days March 23rd-25th. He unfortunately has to work and couldn't get a bunch of time off but he will be there for the important thing, his dad's birthday and he will be able to see his brother before he deploys to Iraq.

I am VERY excited for our trip back to California because my dad and I are actually going to drive my car back! It is FINALLY fixed and it will be wonderful to have my own car and not be stranded at home while Brandon is working. It will also make my job searching much much easier! :) PLUS, I will be able to show my dad where I am living now. He is going to be able to come to our new church on Sunday, and go to all the new places that we are falling in love with!

I can't wait to see everyone and if you want to get together when I am in town just let me know and I will make sure and make it happen. LOVE YOU ALL!

Can't wait to see you!

Design Ideas....

SO I have been SO entirely bored lately that I have been designing my house in my head. LOL! That's what I do when I have nothing to do, BUT now I needed some people to share my ideas with.....what do you all think?? Given, I am on a VERY tight budget so I am thinking that some thrift stores are calling my name. Maybe, just maybe I will find some fantastic treasures :) Oh Yay!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea of applying wallpaper to your bookshelves for that extra pop of color....I might just have to do that since I can't paint my walls! :(

This right here was a pretty fantastic idea.....who would of thought to use Mason jars for storage in your office. Brillant, I tell you, Brilliant!! :)

This Headboard project definately seems easy enough, I am thinking maybe Red though. Lots of Red Fabric for my headboard would be BEAUTIFUL :)

I am loving all these fabric pictures......SO pretty and inexpensive :)

As you all have seen, I have a VERY hideous looking paneled wall in my Living Room so this is my vision.......Cover up the majority of the wall with floor to ceiling curtains! I am thinking a Sheer white curtain topped with a colorful pattered one THEN for the middle (above the fireplace) Make a canvas that will cover the rest of the paneling and cover the canvas with this fabric. What do you think?

THEN, find some old frames and anything else I can get my hands on and top the mantel with them :) Oh it's going to be beautiful! :)

AND last but not least, of course you have to have some Fabric covered wall art :)

Friendly Visits.....

Wade has been here since Thursday!! We have been having TONS of fun........Brandon and I picked him up from the airport in San Francisco late Thursday night after his flight got cancelled
coming into Sacramento and he had to change it! Friday was just Wade and I as Brandon had to work so we did all the stuff that we knew Brandon would have no fun doing including going to SUSHI, which by the way was FANTASTIC, went shopping at the Solano Shopping Mall, bought a few things for me and a few things for him! Then, went to pick Brandon up at work and went to the dog park with Diesel (he had SO SO SO much fun) and went to dinner at Dynasty Restaurant. Dynasty has the BEST chinese food ever! OH YUM.......

Saturday we took the whole day to go to San Francisco, we left the house around 8:00am and headed towards the beach!! :) Once we got to San Francisco we showed him Lombard St. He said
"This street is screaming for the MINI!!" and then got SUPER excited for when he drives down to see us next time! :) After Lombard St. we went to Coit Tower which was built in 1933 and is 210 ft. tall. We got a TON of really pretty pictures from the top of the tower :) You could see everything from up there! We then went to The GHIRADELLI Factory :) We stopped in the Ghiradelli Cafe and had to try their Sea Salt & Carmel Hot Cocoa's, Mmmmmm..........Wade said that anything after this is just gonna be downhill so we should just go home now ;) lol! We fortunately didn't listen to him and went to the Golden Gate Park which was BEAUTIFUL!! :) Before we headed home we went to Fisherman's Wharf and had to take Wade to In & Out as he has never had an In & Out Burger.....he was pleasantly surprised that they were delicious!!! :) We walked around a bit while at the wharf, saw a few crazy people lol, a bush guy scared the living daylights out of me by hiding behind a bush and jumping out and screaming just as I walked by. WOW I don't think I have ever jumped in the air and screamed like that EVER!! I hope you all enjoy my pictures that I took throughout the day :) Love and Miss you all!!!!

Mom's visit....

We had SO SO SO much fun this weekend with my mom! It was completely packed full with all sorts of things to explore (for her at least) including, the Jelly Belly Factory, Pier 39, Half Moon Bay, and all of Fairfield! My mom and I had Friday all to ourselves since Brandon had to work so we started the day off and went to breakfast, just the two of us! We chose IHOP because it was WAY to early for either of us to be awake and we needed LOTS of coffee. ;) We then went to the Solano Shopping Mall because we wanted to check out Old Navy, supposedly they were supposed to be having a BIG sale but we found out they open at 10 instead of 9 and I had to be at a chiropractic appt. at 10...BOO! After my chiro appt. we went back to the base so I could show my mom around!! I showed her the BX (Base Exchange) which is basically like a Walmart and it is so fantastic because living in California there is tax but on base we don't have to pay tax. YAY! :) SO we had to get a few things including a coffee pot because apparently it was inexcusable that I had no coffee pot. LOL ;) We then went to the thrift shop on base and they have FANTASTIC prices! I got a HUGE king size quilt that is gorgeous for $20 bucks and a BUNCH of picture frames for my wall! I now have a very large wall in my hallway with all my friends and family on it and I love it! :) We went to dinner that night at an Italian food place call Carino's Italian and had a BIG Lasagna that we all split! :)

Saturday we took the trip to San Francisco!! Brandon and I took her to Pier 39 and Fisherman's wharf. We ate at Bubba Gump Shrimp and had some fantastic Clam Chowder!! :) We then walked through all the shops in the Pier and down Fisherman's Wharf. Brandon was fantastic, he didn't complain about us shopping once! LOL :) After the Pier we took her to Half Moon Bay,
reminds me of Cannon Beach! Super cute little town, Brandon wanted to see it because all year long the Maverick's are there. They are a surfing team I believe. He loves to surf so he was really excited! On the way back to Fairfield we HAD to go over the Golden Gate Bridge to show her and got out to take a few pictures! It was SO SO SO cold and windy but we manged to get a few as you can see above! :) For dinner, we went to Dynasty Restaurant! The best Chinese EVER!! She LOVED it, even said that if there was one in Oregon she might switch but since there isn't she can't admit that it is better than Wong's King cause that might ruin Chinese food for her! :)

I was able to take my mom to our new church on Sunday but before we could do that we had to get some Starbucks! Her and I had the chance to go get coffee just the two of us :) After coffee we headed to our church. There was a new worship leader at church that we are trying out for the first time (we are looking for a full time worship leader to head up everything) and he was fantastic! He is coming back again in 2 weeks and we are all very excited!! Mom loved the worship and the sermon and she has informed me that she approves. ;) Oh good! :) For lunch, we went to Chevy's (cause I had a coupon!!) and had some DELICIOUS food! After, we had to take her back to the airport :( It was really hard saying goodbye to her but I am gonna see her again in March and that keeps me going! :) I had SO much fun with her this weekend and I miss her like crazy already!
Love you mom!!!! :)
